September was a fun and full of firsts. We took our very first true road trip vacation. We drove through the night to Atlanta (10 hrs) and stayed there a few nights visiting Gpa and Gigi. Then we took Gpa and Gigi with us as we drove the 6 Hrs to Orlando for one week at Orange Lake Resort. We had a great time and really enjoyed spending time with Gpa and Gigi. We spent lots of time in the different pools at the resort and the kids loved the arcade. Myla participated in a hula hoop contest. We also visited Downtown Disney and ate at the RainForest Cafe which was a giant HIT with the kids. Jaden and Myla loved it everytime it rained and the animals came to life. We also had to order the volcano dessert which everyone enjoyed after lunch. The driving was long but well worth the trip. The kids are anxious to go back and they want to go to Disney World next time!
Also in September, Myla was able to roller skate for the first time. She did awesome and picked it up really quickly. She was super tired and we had to nurse her first little toe blister :( Seems like the kids have both hit growth spurts this month and we can't wait to see how big they are at their check ups in Nov. and Dec.
